Our cutting-edge optical leak sensors surpass traditional oil leak detection cables, providing a range of unparalleled advantages. Firstly, users can effortlessly reset the sensors by simply wiping the sensing bulb once a leak is detected, ensuring convenient reusability for subsequent incidents. In contrast, oil detection cables become non-functional upon detecting oil, leading to the costly necessity of complete replacements. Therefore, the use of our advanced optical leak sensors not only offers superior performance but also eliminates the financial burden associated with frequent cable replacements.
Disadvantages of using Oil Detection Cable
- Delayed Activation: Extensive tests have revealed that oil detection cable can take a long time to detect leaks. Depending on the liquid volume and leak conditions these can be: Gasoline: 3-6 minutes; Diesel Oil: 25-35 minutes; Jet Fuels: 10-20 minutes. Our upgraded system offers significantly faster detection times, ensuring faster response to potential hazards.
- Limited Re-usability: Traditional oil detection cables suffer from limited re-usability as they become useless once oil is detected, requiring complete replacement. In contrast, our optical leak sensors can be easily reset, enabling cost reduction and minimizing downtime.
