We can source all well-known premium brands of tyres, as well as budget and mid-range options. If we don’t stock the tyre you require we can order in from our suppliers for the same afternoon or next day.
Same Day Fitting. If you need new tyres in a hurry, MARTINS TYRES can offer same-day fitting. We don’t charge more for same-day fitting, our prices quoted in advance and in our depot are the same!

When choosing new car tyres, you need to consider how the tyres you choose will perform for your driving style.
Tyre Type
When looking for new car tyres you should consider what type of car tyre you need:
Summer tyres
Summer Tyres should be fitted to cars when the temperature is above 7 °C. Summer car tyres offer you a high level of grip on both wet and dry roads and also provide ideal performance in warmer temperatures.
All Season Tyres
All-season tyres are also known as all-weather tyres and are produced by many of the leading tyre manufacturers. These tyres are designed for safety and performance all year round in countries, like the UK that has less severe winters (low chance of snow).
Winter Tyres
Winter Tyres should be fitted to a car when the temperature falls below 7 °C. They are made with a softer compound and are designed to disperse water and snow to improve contact with the road. Winter Tyres are not mandatory within the UK like they are in some other European countries, such as Germany.

Budget Tyres
We stock budget tyres in a vast selection of tyre sizes onsite in our warehouse. We offer a higher quality budget tyre where possible. Budget tyres are subject to testing and checks but will not have been subjected to the meticulous design and testing process as mid-range/premium brands.
Premium Tyres
Tyres manufactured by Premium brand undergo rigorous testing and contain over 100 compounds. Many of the premium brand manufactures are also environmentally conscious and are trying to improve manufacturing and recycling processes.
Within our warehouse are many of the popular sized main brands. However, with the massive range of tyre sizing’s and choice of brands we cannot stock everything – but with our supplier connections we can offer same afternoon or next day ordering with most tyres.
Mid-Range Tyres
We proudly offer the value for money option which suits so many customers, a mid-range tyre. We are key stockists of GT Radial, Falken and Nexen. All of which are OE fitment across car manufacturers see below:
